FISH TALES

The Adventure was Like No Other: Tyrina’s Tale

The adventure was like no other, I will definitely do it again.

The instant connection of women that never met each other before made it even more enjoyable, the laughs, the excitement we all showed when it was someone’s turn to sit in the ‘chair’, the screeching and screaming when a fish was caught, made the event even better.

The highlight of the fishing trips, there were two, was that you ate what you caught, how amazing is that! The resort that was provided – OH HEAVEN, it was just lovely, serene, I slept on the 3rd floor with the glass door opened to hear the sea, just magical.

Then it was onto the Tour Adventure, we visited The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory, Tasty Teas Bahamas, Fort Charlotte, Junkanoo World where we actually made our own face mask and got the 1st hand scoop on what goes down in the junkanoo shack, then it was on to John Watling’s Distillery, we were educated about all of our stops. Felt like I was back in high school and it felt real goodddddddd.

Our final stop was at Goldie’s Conch House at Arawak Cay (Fish Fry as we call it) where we had a nice dinner, the ladies talked about how splendid the weekend was and parted ways.

Dear Women, a few reasons why you should not miss out on the next one:

1) The most relaxing time of your life

2) Get away from it all (spouse, kids, LIFE)

3) Great way to network

4) There are a whole lot of things to see and do

I recommend that all women have an Off Da Rock Bahamas Fishing + Junkanoo weekend experience, even if it’s just one time. The host Alex, was hype from the Friday I met her until our departure on Sunday, the kind of host you will certainly enjoy being around and she was very informative in regards to fishing.
